BGB Foils Push-In Attempts of 30 People Along Juri-Barlekha Border Over Three Days

Attempts were made over the past three days to push 30 people into Bangladesh along the border in Juri and Barlekha upazilas of Moulvibazar district, according to reports. Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on duty along the frontier resisted and foiled those attempts.

A report by Sylhet Voice said the push-in attempts continued over three consecutive days and were thwarted each time by the BGB's action, so none of the 30 people could be forced across into Bangladesh.
