Tiger footprints found behind a response team member's home, panic in the area

Tiger footprints have been found behind the home of a member of the Village Tiger Response Team (VTRT), spreading panic among local residents.

The discovery has drawn extra attention because the team exists precisely to respond when a tiger strays into human settlements, and this time the tracks appeared behind one of its own members' homes.

Since the footprints were spotted, residents have been on alert, with many reducing their movement after dark as a precaution.

People in the area are also worried about their livestock and are taking extra care to keep animals safe.

Residents expect the Forest Department and the authorities concerned to visit the spot quickly, examine the tracks and confirm whether a tiger is really nearby.

Until that verification is done, locals say the fear will not go away.

Those concerned advise people in such situations to stay alert, avoid rumours and keep away from any situation that could bring them face to face with a tiger.

This report will be updated as further information becomes available.
